Exchange of young Vietnamese officers

( Bqp.vn ) - On the afternoon of August 7, in Hanoi, a discussion and exchange program took place between young officer delegates of the Vietnam People's Army and young officer delegates of the Indian Army.

Speaking at the seminar, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quang Huy, Deputy Head of the Military Youth Department, affirmed that the exchange, meetings and experience sharing activities between young officers of the two countries have contributed to consolidating and nurturing the friendly relationship and deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries. This is also an opportunity to enhance understanding between the youth of the two armies, contributing to promoting cooperation and trust between the two armies in general and young officers of the two countries in particular.

Affirming that the young generation of Vietnam always deeply understands that the Vietnam - India relationship is a long-standing traditional friendship, founded by President Ho Chi Minh and Prime Minister Nehru and nurtured and preserved by generations of leaders of the two countries, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quang Huy hopes that the young officers of the two countries' armies will have more practical exchange and experience sharing activities in the fields of cooperation.

For his part, Major Nishant Jhobta, Head of the Indian Young Officers Delegation, thanked the Army Youth Union for its warm and thoughtful welcome; and expressed his wish to continue to closely cooperate with the Vietnamese young officers so that both sides can develop together, increase information sharing, and contribute to the good cooperation between the two countries and the two Armies in the coming time.

During the exchange trip to Vietnam, the delegation of young Indian officers visited a number of historical sites; visited and exchanged with a number of units of the Vietnam People's Army.
