On August 9, Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Tourism organized a training conference to disseminate knowledge on environmental protection in the tourism sector for more than 100 tourism businesses in the province.

The conference was held to raise awareness and responsibility of tourism businesses on environmental protection in tourism activities, thereby moving towards green and sustainable tourism development.
At the conference, delegates listened to representatives of the Department of Environment - Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment disseminate the provisions of the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 and update new documents guiding the implementation of the Law in the environmental field; regulations on environmental protection at tourism service establishments; regulations and instructions on environmental licenses; key issues on environmental protection at the local level...
In addition, delegates were also introduced to regulations related to domestic solid waste; methods and models for treating domestic solid waste after it has been classified according to the instructions of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment; regulations related to sanctions and handling of violations in the work of classifying domestic solid waste at source; and the role of organizations and individuals participating in plastic waste management in Vietnam.
