The 2024 Good Gatekeeper Competition was a great success

With the motto "Review theory, practice skills" and improve professional qualifications and legal knowledge of the level crossing staff, Vietnam Railways Corporation organized the "5th Excellent Level Crossing Staff Competition - 2024" in Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh Province.

It is known that since April 2024, the Competition for Excellent Level Crossing Guards has been widely held at 15 railway infrastructure management units, aiming to find outstanding faces to participate in the Industry-wide Competition.

Attending today's industry-level competition were 75 contestants with the highest achievements in the grassroots competitions, representing nearly 3,500 level crossing guards in the industry.

To prepare for the competition, the contestants actively practiced, calmly and confidently demonstrated their knowledge and skills, meeting the requirements of the task, ensuring traffic safety for people and vehicles passing at level crossings on the national railway network.

The Organizing Committee assessed that this year's competition for excellent railway crossing guards was quite similar in terms of "quality" and "quantity", and the candidates' skills had clearly improved compared to previous competitions.

With the spirit of responsibility, objectivity and seriousness, the Organizing Committee of the contest also found worthy representatives. Individual prizes include 5 gold prizes, 6 first prizes, 9 second prizes, 11 third prizes, 9 consolation prizes and 2 consolation prizes for the oldest and youngest contestants of the contest. The final result was that Vinh Phu Real Estate JSC won the first prize for the whole group, Quang Binh Real Estate JSC won the second prize and the third prize went to Thanh Hoa Real Estate JSC.

Through the competition, gatekeepers at the units have the opportunity to compete, exchange and learn professional experiences and strengthen solidarity with each other, contributing to ensuring safety for trains on the Vietnam Railway network.
