In the first 6 months of 2024, the Provincial Journalists Association has successfully implemented and completed the set tasks and targets. Attention has been paid to the consolidation and development of the association's organization, and the organization of the congresses of branches and clubs has been completed. The work of training members and journalists on journalism skills has been focused on, meeting the requirements of press agencies and members and journalists.

Charitable social work is organized effectively, helping many cases and situations that are especially difficult. The Provincial Journalists Association creates conditions for members - journalists to go on field trips, exchange professional experiences with a number of units. Through activities and meetings, a close connection has been created between the press agency, the association and its branches and clubs.

The Provincial Journalists Association proposed that the Vietnam Journalists Association consider and decide to admit 38 new members, bringing the total number of members of the Provincial Journalists Association to 190; and award the "For the cause of Vietnamese journalism" Medal to 4 members with sufficient tenure.

In the last 6 months of the year, the Provincial Journalists Association focused on advising the Provincial People's Committee on the work of judging, summarizing, and awarding the 16th Provincial Press Awards - 2024; organizing a workshop on policy communication; publishing the special issue of Quang Ngai Journalists No. 03; implementing a number of activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025)...

On this occasion, the Provincial Journalists Association awarded the Decision on recognition of membership of the Vietnam Journalists Association to the Deputy Director of the Center for Communication - Culture - Sports of Tu Nghia district, Vo Thi Mai Huyen. At the same time, the Medal "For the cause of Vietnamese journalism" was awarded to 4 individuals.
