According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), the virtual filtering for university admission will take place from August 13 to 5:00 p.m. on August 17 and will be carried out 6 times.
Every day, schools will join the Ministry of Education and Training to follow the correct process of receiving data, organizing admissions and sending admission results to the system. All admission methods (about 20 methods) are admitted in one round on the Ministry of Education and Training's system.
After the final virtual screening, schools will enter the admission scores and admission results into the system, review and prepare to announce the first round of admission results according to the general schedule. Thus, after this period, schools can announce the benchmark scores and admission results to candidates.
Recently, the Academy of Finance has announced its plan to announce the 2024 benchmark scores for admission methods including admission of excellent students based on high school academic results, admission based on high school graduation exam results, admission combining international English certificates with 2024 high school graduation exam results, and consideration of competency assessment and thinking assessment results at the same time according to the general plan, no later than August 19.
According to the 2024 enrollment plan of the Academy of Finance, the admission score of candidates using the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam is from 20 points or higher for the standard program and from 21 points or higher for the international certificate-oriented program according to each admission code.
This floor score is the total score of 3 subjects in one of the registered admission combinations (plus priority points according to region and subject).
Last year, the benchmark score based on the high school graduation exam results of the Academy of Finance ranged from 34.01 - 35.51 on a 40-point scale (English has a coefficient of 2) and from 25.8 - 26.17 on a 30-point scale.
For the majors with a benchmark score of 40, Customs and Logistics is the major with the highest benchmark score. For the 30-point scale, the major with the highest benchmark score is Business Administration; taking 26.17 points.
