Accordingly, students will return to school on Monday, August 26 (preschool education will not organize a return to school) and schools will organize the opening ceremony on September 5.

Semester I of the 2024-2025 school year ends before January 18, 2025, and the second semester program must be completed and the school year must end before May 31, 2025. The actual number of study weeks for all levels must be 35 weeks; of which semester I has 18 weeks and semester II has 17 weeks.

Consideration of recognition of completion of primary school program and recognition of graduation from secondary school before June 30, 2025; completion of enrollment for first grade classes before July 31, 2025.

High school graduation exams and other national exams according to regulations and instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training. The organization of the provincial-level exam to select excellent students for grade 12 must be completed before January 31, 2025.

Teachers' annual leave is taken during the summer vacation or arranged alternately at other times during the school year to suit the specific characteristics and school year schedule of each level of education, in accordance with the actual conditions of each educational institution (guided by the Department of Education and Training to ensure teachers' leave during the school year).

Lam Dong Department of Education and Training added that in the new school year 2024-2025, public primary school students and 5-year-old preschool children in the area will not pay tuition fees, the budget will compensate.

Previously, the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council issued a Resolution regulating tuition fees for public educational institutions from the 2024-2025 school year in the area. Accordingly, depending on the level of education and the region and area of ​​residence, each student will have a monthly tuition fee of at least 23,000 VND and at most 112,000 VND.
