Semiconductor microchip field is being invested and developed in Vietnam.
Currently, there are dozens of universities nationwide that train in majors/specializations related to the semiconductor microchip field. Tuition fees for the 2024-2025 school year at schools vary depending on the training program, the lowest is 16.4 million VND and the highest is 80 million VND/year.
Specifically, the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communications Technology (University of Danang) has the lowest tuition fee among public universities offering this major, at 16.4 million VND/year. Meanwhile, the advanced program taught and learned in English at the University of Technology - Ho Chi Minh City National University has the highest tuition fee, at 80 million VND/year.
In the non-public university sector, FPT University has the highest tuition fee. Accordingly, this school has 9 semesters with a total duration of 4 years. With the calculation of tuition fee from semester 1 to semester 3 is 28.7 million VND/semester, from semester 4 to semester 6 is 30.5 million VND/semester and from semester 7 to semester 9 is 32.5 million VND/semester, on average, each year students have to pay 68.7 million VND.
