Singer Hoa Minzy: Hoa thinks this success comes from three factors:

First, the idea. Without the idea, or even the desire to make a musical product about my homeland, I certainly wouldn't be able to carry out such a project.

Second, is the preparation. First, Hoa needs a good song. Then, Hoa must find a good musician. Tuan Cry and Masew are the two people that Hoa thinks are the most suitable.

Third, is the great contribution of comedian Xuan Hinh. Having him appear in the project is something special.

In parallel, Hoa has more than 500 people in the total implementation team. Of which, more than 300 are from Bac Ninh. For Hoa, one tree cannot make a forest. Without the support of the local government and the love of the people, Hoa would not be able to carry out this project, because Bac Ninh is a homeland that values ​​love.

Singer Hoa Minzy: Hoa is a pretty simple person. Because she often has to wear makeup on stage too much, Hoa will return to being a normal mother when she comes home to her children; return to being a normal child when she comes home to her family. When Hoa returns to her hometown, Hoa also returns to being a child of her hometown Kinh Bac.

But in music, Hoa wants to bring flexible colors to traditional culture, so that traditional culture is more embellished and closer to modern audiences.

PV:   I know that Hoa spent a lot of effort to get the special appearance of comedian Xuan Hinh in the MV Bac Bling (Bac Ninh). So behind the scenes, what is the "king of comedy in the North" like?

Singer Hoa Minzy: After their first official meeting, the two "father and daughter" shook hands and greeted each other as if they had known each other for a long time.

Normally, Hinh's father would sing cheo or xam. But this time, he also sang rap.

Initially, those rap lines were Tuan Cry's part, but Hoa thought, no, it should be "dad" Hinh's rap. After the debate, everyone let dad go into the studio.

After the first harvest, everyone exclaimed: “We won this time.”

Hoa thinks that "Dad" Hinh is a person who listens to young people very well. "Dad" never says: Oh, don't do this, don't do that. "Dad" tries all the ideas that Hoa and the others give.

Singer Hoa Minzy: Hoa has filmed many times, from commercials to MVs, and has met many extras, but Hoa has never had an extra who was her relative.

I turned left, I turned right, I looked forward, I looked back, they were all familiar faces. They were all from my village. Everyone was not used to working in front of the camera but still sat and waited for their part. Whatever the director said, they enthusiastically followed. One of the sisters teased Hoa that she was like Saint Giong, with the whole village contributing rice to cook rice.

Receiving the love of his fellow villagers is the most wonderful thing in Hoa's life. This also made him hold back tears many times.

Singer Hoa Minzy: Hoa thinks culture is something that has gone through time, it is the clear identities of regions and nations. Culture creates the uniqueness and difference of a nation compared to the world.

UNESCO recognized Quan Ho Bac Ninh as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity. That is culture. Bac Ninh culture also includes wrestling festivals, tug of war games, and boat racing festivals on the Nhu Nguyet River. Hoa put all these images into her MV.

The traditional costume of Bac Ninh people that Hoa wears today is the same.

Hoa's way of spreading culture and music is to do it correctly and as closely as possible to the traditional elements. Then I add modern music to harmonize with the youth.

Ever since he started making culturally-related creative products like “Can’t Be Together for Lifetimes,” Hoa has been meticulous in his research. When making products with historical elements, he had to meet with historical experts. But songs about the homeland are much more difficult to exploit, especially when you want to follow a cultural direction.

Hoa does not dare to speak for any young artist, but Hoa thinks she is on the right track. Over the past 4 years, Hoa has always wanted to aim for a greater value for each of her songs.
