Looking at Le Anh Tien's journey, it is not difficult to recognize the tireless efforts and perseverance of a person who dares to dream and dares to do.

Tien was not born into a wealthy family. The boy born in 1990 grew up in a family with limited resources in Da Nang, but always nurtured a strong belief that technology would change the world. Known as a “dreamer” in the technology industry, Tien faced many challenges. Instead of giving up, he chose the difficult path of starting a business.

With a background in technology, Tien started his journey by learning about chatbots (software or applications that can chat with users by voice or text), a technology that helps connect people with machines, helping businesses solve problems of interacting with customers automatically and more effectively. His first step was not easy. The chatbot system at that time was still very rudimentary and could not meet market expectations.

But Tien did not stop there. He strived to learn every day, and spent a lot of time building a young, enthusiastic team, together testing and developing bold, creative ideas.

In 2015, Le Anh Tien's first chatbot was officially launched under the name "Chatbot 1.0". This was the first milestone in his career. Although still in its infancy and incomplete, this product has made a strong impression on the startup and technology community in Vietnam, especially in solving communication problems between customers and businesses.

When officially launched, Chatbot 1.0 was clearly different from previous products. Not simply an automated customer support tool, Tien's chatbot was also integrated with powerful artificial intelligence (AI), helping to handle complex questions, predict user needs and provide an extremely friendly experience.

The biggest challenge in Tien’s journey was building trust. To be able to step out of Vietnam’s borders, Tien had to prove that his product was highly effective and could replace the imported chatbot systems that were dominating the market. He was patient, creative, and constantly improving his product.

After receiving strong support from the domestic market, Tien started upgrading his chatbot. By integrating modern AI technologies into the product, his chatbot does not stop at supporting answering simple questions, but has the ability to learn, develop and automate complex tasks. This chatbot was quickly chosen by big domestic names such as Viettel, Mobifone, Tiki and many other brands.

In 2019, after affirming his position in the domestic market, Le Anh Tien decided to bring his products to the international market. He participated in major technology conferences held in many countries to find partners and at the same time affirm the value of Vietnamese products.

At an international technology conference, when Tien introduced his product, many people were skeptical about the capabilities of a start-up from Vietnam. But then, his chatbot proved its superiority and a number of large enterprises in the US, Japan, and Singapore began to contact him to learn more and cooperate. That was the biggest turning point in Le Anh Tien's career, when his product was not only recognized in Vietnam, but also reached out to the world, becoming a symbol of creativity and innovation.

After 6 years of continuous development, Vietnam Chatbot Technology Joint Stock Company has developed and deployed thousands of chatbots for businesses in many industries, from e-commerce to financial services, healthcare, and education. The company currently has more than 13,400 corporate customers using its products and more than 10 million users in many countries.

Looking forward to the “next chapter” of chatbots

Le Anh Tien often mentions a saying that he really likes: perseverance and belief are two indispensable factors in the entrepreneurial journey. Thanks to faith and perseverance, he has overcome all difficulties and challenges to build a sustainable chatbot "empire" with a bold strategic vision.

Tien's success comes not only from building products, but also from focusing on building a creative working environment, promoting constant innovation within the team. He understands that only when each member of the team feels inspired and can maximize their abilities, will the product truly make a difference.

To continue maintaining the position of Vietnam Chatbot Technology Joint Stock Company in the international market, Tien continuously improves and develops chatbot technology. He always focuses on optimizing the communication between humans and machines, providing effective business support products, bringing real value to users. Each time he upgrades a product, Tien relies on actual feedback from customers and users.

Nowadays, chatbots are no longer a strange concept. From large enterprises to small shops, from government agencies to service organizations… all use chatbots to save time, increase work efficiency and bring good experiences to users.

It is this philosophy that has helped him persevere and maintain creativity in his work, firmly overcoming challenges.

He also believes that one of the most important factors to achieve success is collaborative leadership, where the leader is not only a commander, but also a companion, always ready to listen and encourage employees to be creative.

Motivation from the will to overcome all personal limits

What are your long term plans and goals for the future?

I aim to expand the Company by continuously improving products and building a comprehensive digital transformation solution ecosystem.

In addition, we will expand our market not only in Vietnam, but also internationally with strong brand positioning plans in Cambodia and Canada. This will help us affirm our position on the global technology map, meeting the increasing market demand for modern AI solutions.

In your opinion, in what direction will chatbots develop?

In the next 5-10 years, with the rapid advancement of technology, I believe that chatbots will no longer be simple automatic answering tools, but will transform into truly intelligent "AI agents". Advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and natural language processing will help chatbots not only deeply understand customer needs, but also predict and personalize user experiences in a sophisticated way.

Do you ever feel tired of work?

During my entrepreneurial journey, there were times when I felt exhausted and lost, especially when faced with unprecedented resource pressures and challenges. However, instead of letting negative emotions dominate, I always saw it as an opportunity to reevaluate myself and my work.

What is the source of motivation for you to strive and improve yourself?

In work and life, my greatest motivation is the desire to create real value for the community and constantly innovate myself. I always remind myself that every challenge and failure is a valuable lesson that helps me grow. My passion for technology, love of discovery and will to overcome all personal limits are the driving forces that help me constantly strive.

In addition, I also find motivation in sharing knowledge and experience with my team and those around me. The connection between my family, colleagues and community has helped me always feel supported and encouraged on the path of development. This not only motivates me to continuously innovate, but also helps me improve myself every day.
