Welcoming General Secretary and President Xi Jinping and the high-ranking Chinese delegation at Noi Bai International Airport were special drum performances by artists from the drum troupe, along with welcome dances by young women in costumes representing Vietnamese ethnic groups. Along with that, a large number of Vietnamese and Chinese people in Vietnam, officials and staff of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam held flags of the two countries and banners, demonstrating the traditional friendship between the two countries, warmly welcoming General Secretary and President Xi Jinping and the high-ranking Chinese delegation.
The visit of General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping is of special significance to the relationship between the two Parties and two countries, continuing to foster friendship and enhance comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and China in the new development period. Taking place less than a year after the State visit to China by General Secretary To Lam, this State visit to Vietnam by General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping is an important foreign political event of the two Parties and two countries, with strategic significance and long-term impact on the development of Vietnam-China relations in the context that the two countries are entering a new era, a new era of development.
This is Comrade Xi Jinping's fourth visit to Vietnam as the highest leader of the Party and State of China and the second visit during the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China; especially taking place during the "Year of Humanitarian Exchange", commemorating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations (1950-2025). The visit demonstrates China's importance and priority in consolidating and further enhancing the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership and the Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future, which has strategic significance.

During the visit, General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping is expected to hold high-level talks and meetings with General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man to discuss measures, directions and major orientations to promote bilateral relations in various fields.
