At that time, Hoa Minzy explained that the song's title implied a Bac Ninh that was sparkling, shining and reaching out to develop. She also asked the audience to wait for the MV to be released to see how reasonable this name was.

With the MV Bac Bling released on the evening of March 1, Hoa Minzy has truly answered the audience's previous concerns and questions.

A traditional and sparkling Bac Ninh

With an important project that Hoa Minzy introduced as the biggest ever, the female singer made a safe choice when continuing to cooperate with a familiar producer who has accompanied her in at least 2 projects, Masew. The two have worked together since Thi Mau, Ken ca chon canh and now Bac Bling .

The artists are loyal to the familiar formula of combining traditional cultural elements with modern electronic music, which is applied in many musical products of the same color. In general, the direction and implementation of Bac Bling is similar to Thi Mau , with whom the two collaborated many years ago.

However, with new materials, imbued with the beauty of Bac Ninh, the land known as a sacred land of talented people, Bac Bling is still different and attractive enough.

With Bac Bling , the producer continues to promote everything within safe limits, characterized by the skillful blending of traditional instruments such as flutes, erhu, moon lute... with electronic sounds, accented with attractive, catchy drops.

The MV was filmed entirely in Bac Ninh, Hoa Minzy's hometown, with the participation of 300 people of all ages, from children to nearly 90-year-olds, clearly showing the intersection of generations. Through the MV, the traditional cultural countryside appears sparkling through beautiful camera angles from director Nhu Dang. Sparkling in Quan Ho melodies, Lien Anh Lien Chi, in Ao Tu Than, Ao The Khan Turban, Non Quai Thao, Trau Tem Canh Phuong, or wrestling festivals to famous places, beautiful landscapes of the homeland, idyllic nature, ancient architectural works such as Ly Bat De Temple (Den Do), Ba Chua Kho Temple, Dau Pagoda, Phu Lang pottery...

The crew also cleverly incorporated spiritual values ​​or beautiful customs that have been preserved for generations by the people of the North. For example, the scene where Tuan Cry and Meritorious Artist Xuan Hinh appear together clearly shows the spirit of a young person standing next to a senior, not shy but respectful and admiring.

Regarding the lyrics, Hoa Minzy's team put into the song famous proverbs and poems, associated with the lives of many generations of Vietnamese people, along with invitations to a Bac Ninh filled with love for the homeland, where there are " Festivals bustling and bustling all year round / Passing by Ba Chua Temple to pray for luck and fortune / On the full moon of August, leisurely playing with the moon " or " Race boats on the Nhu Nguyet River / Many historical books of spiritual land and talented people / Tam Phu, a sacred paradise ".

Xuan Hinh is so impressive, is Hoa Minzy overshadowed?

With an MV focusing on her homeland and community, Hoa Minzy let the "King of Northern Comedy" Xuan Hinh take the opening role. This choice clearly shows respect for her seniors and special guests. Xuan Hinh is also an artist from Bac Ninh, who used to work with the Bac Ninh Quan Ho Theater before switching to Cheo and becoming famous.

However, the decision to have Meritorious Artist Xuan Hinh as the "first face" was quite risky. And indeed, the performance was so impressive, and was placed right at the beginning of Xuan Hinh's MV, it somewhat overshadowed the two juniors who appeared after him. Hoa Minzy still performed well and smoothly. However, because she was placed after the singing and even rapping with Xuan Hinh's interesting handling, attractive, individualistic, and folk style, Hoa Minzy was at a disadvantage.

Not to mention, Xuan Hinh has never appeared in any pop music MV and has been behind the scenes for many years. Therefore, the appearance of the "Northern comedy king" has become the focus of this project.

However, overall, Bac Bling is still a quality MV in terms of setting, costumes, extras and above all, its love for national culture and art. It touches the emotions of viewers, touches the pride of a land with long-standing cultural values. An MV that honors the beauty of cultural roots but still has a modern, youthful and dynamic breath and beat.

The number of posts sharing Bac Bling can be said to be the densest among the products released since the beginning of the year. After about 3 hours of release, Bac Bling reached 300,000 views and ranked 10th on the trending list. Since then, the MV has been steadily increasing in both views and trending, rising to 2nd place, closely following the "throne" of Even If It's the End of the World at 3:00 p.m. on March 2, 20 hours after its release.
