The activity is part of the project "Supporting people to recover after storm No. 3 - Yagi" sponsored by Uniqlo Company through Plan International Japan office.
The project was implemented with close coordination between the Plan International Project Management Board of Hoang Su Phi district, the People's Committee of Hoang Su Phi district, the Department of Agriculture & Environment and the Radio - Television Station of Hoang Su Phi district, ensuring support to the right subjects in an effective and timely manner.
100 households in Tung San and Ban Luoc communes, Hoang Su Phi district, Ha Giang province received a support package of corn seeds and fertilizers to restore production after storm No. 3 - Yagi. |
Practical support package to help people rebuild production, including: 1kg of corn seeds/household; 30kg of urea fertilizer/household; 15kg of NPK fertilizer/household.
Not only stopping at providing emergency support after natural disasters, Plan International Vietnam 's project activities also aim at sustainable livelihood solutions, helping people not only overcome immediate difficulties but also have the tools and knowledge to be self-reliant in the future.
From supporting crop varieties, developing livelihood models to training production skills, these support activities not only "give fish", but also aim to help people "have a fishing rod", aiming to proactively improve their lives and rebuild more sustainably after storms and floods.
