According to WCCF Tech , Samsung seems to be 'playing big' in the ultra-thin smartphone race, with the Galaxy S25 Edge model rumored to create a new craze. After the 'teasers' at Galaxy Unpacked and MWC 2025 (Spain), information about this mysterious phone continues to leak, revealing surprising details.

Galaxy S25 Edge is surprisingly light

As phones get bigger and bigger thanks to their powerful cameras and high-resolution screens, the trend of ultra-thin smartphones is making a strong comeback. Both Apple and Samsung are said to be stepping into this field, promising to bring devices that are both powerful, slim, and easy to hold.

Although Samsung is still keeping the information secret, the famous leaker Ice Universe recently 'revealed' on the social network X (formerly Twitter) the impressive parameters of the Galaxy S25 Edge. Accordingly, the device weighs only 162g, significantly lighter than current high-end smartphones. At the same time, it is much thinner than the Galaxy S25 Plus (expected 7.2mm) with a thickness of only 5.84mm.

Despite its 'super thin' appearance, the Galaxy S25 Edge is rumored to have a powerful configuration, with:

• Chip: Powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite from Qualcomm.
• RAM: 12 GB.
• Internal memory: 256 GB.
• Main camera: 200 MP (unprecedented on Samsung smartphones).
• Ultra wide camera: 50 MP
• Battery: 3,900 mAh (possibly a trade-off for the slim design).

Ice Universe also revealed that the starting price of the Galaxy S25 Edge will be the same as the S25 Plus, around $999 (VND 25.4 million). This price shows that Samsung is confident in the appeal of the ultra-thin design, while still maintaining the high-end segment.

According to leaked information, Samsung will officially launch the Galaxy S25 Edge in April and go on sale in May.
