Technology site CNMO Technology News quoted sources close to Apple as saying that the iPhone maker will launch its latest generation of smartphones on September 10.

This information seems reasonable because Apple usually has the habit of launching new iPhone generations every September and it is likely that this year the iPhone 16 series will be no exception.

Specifically, Apple usually launches a new series of iPhones on the Tuesday of the second week of September, then officially launches the product to the market 10 days later, coinciding with the last Friday of the week. For example, last year, "Apple" launched the iPhone 15 series on Tuesday (September 12) and officially sold the product to the market on September 22.

This source also revealed that, in addition to the iPhone 16 series, Apple will also launch the Watch Series 10 smartwatch, the 3rd generation Apple Watch Ultra, and the low-cost Watch SE 3 version.

The South China Morning Post (SCMP) also quoted sources saying that Foxconn has just recruited 50,000 more workers to work at the factory in Zhengzhou city to assemble the iPhone 16 generation and prepare it for sale on the market.

Previously leaked sources also said that Apple will launch the iPhone 16 generation with 4 variants, including: iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max. Most likely, this will be the last version with the Plus option, because many sources said that "Apple" will launch the iPhone 17 Slim to replace the Plus option next year.

According to recently leaked images, the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max duo have no change in design compared to the old version, but there will be a change in screen size.

Specifically, the iPhone 16 Pro will increase the screen size to 6.3 inches, instead of 6.1 inches like on the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max will also increase the screen size from 6.7 inches in the old version to 6.9 inches.

Meanwhile, the screen size of the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus duo has not changed compared to the previous generation, at 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches respectively. However, the design of the standard iPhone 16 duo has an innovation in the camera cluster on the back, with 2 vertical dual cameras, no longer staggered as before. The island cluster containing 2 cameras has also been reduced to a rectangular shape, instead of the previous square shape. The flash is also separated from the island cluster containing the camera.
