Novak Djokovic has received a bonus after winning the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. According to Serbian media, the 37-year-old tennis player decided to donate more than $200,000 to charity. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) does not award cash prizes to medalists, but some countries still offer their own bonuses. According to Forbes, at least 33 countries offer cash for medals. Among them, Serbia awarded all gold medalists $218,000. On August 6, Novak Djokovic visited the Paris Olympic Village to congratulate and encourage Serbian athletes who were practicing.
