According to records, throughout the day of August 10, people in the capital went to Nhon station (S1 station, Bac Tu Liem district) to line up to buy tickets and wait to experience the train.

Sharing with reporters, Ms. Anh Thu's family (Mai Dich, Cau Giay) said: "Today is the first day my family came here and I wanted to try this train to see how it feels. However, when we arrived, we saw too many people trying it out. It was so hot but so many people came to try it out, proving that people are very supportive after a long wait."

In the waiting area to board the train, hundreds of people gathered, eager to experience it.

The urban railway opened on the weekend so more people came to experience it.

During the first 15 days of the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station urban railway line being put into commercial operation, all passengers will be served free of charge.

Inside the carriages were packed with passengers, especially when the train reached the first and last stations of the line, while the stations in between were less crowded.

Station staff were working at full capacity on the second day of free train travel.

According to many residents, the railway line is reasonably designed and aesthetically pleasing. Passengers can access the elevated station through four entrances and exits from four directions on the sidewalks on both sides of the road. The system of stairs, escalators and elevators is convenient for the disabled, the elderly, pregnant women and children.
