Final year students are entering the peak period of reviewing for the 10th grade exam and graduating from high school in 2025.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has just issued guidelines on organizing high school graduation exams and 10th grade entrance exams for the 2024-2025 school year. Accordingly, the Department requires schools to continue to synchronously implement solutions to implement the 2018 General Education Program to ensure quality.

Accordingly, units and schools proactively review, supplement and adjust the educational plan of educational institutions (if necessary), ensuring the completion of program progress according to the school year schedule framework issued by the City People's Committee.

The regular and periodic testing and assessment are in line with the requirements of the 2018 general education program, without putting pressure on students to study more. Students are taught the correct and sufficient subjects/educational activities. The Hanoi Department of Education and Training strictly prohibits cutting the curriculum of subjects.

Schools continue to effectively assign teachers to ensure the prescribed teaching hour quota, prioritize appropriate assignments for final grade teachers to have maximum time to support students in reviewing for the 10th grade entrance exam and high school graduation exam; encourage teachers to exploit and use review software and websites to provide review materials, online testing and assessment, and manage students' review.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training requires schools to review and classify students' levels to have plans for organizing review and training; create conditions for students to study in groups; provide additional support for good students, help students who are still having difficulties in studying to supplement basic knowledge and skills; absolutely do not loosen the organization of review and training for students with unsatisfactory learning results; organize review indiscriminately, for the wrong subjects, ineffectively, causing waste.
