The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued Official Dispatch No. 979/UBND-NC on the implementation of fire prevention and fighting (PCCC) and rescue (CNCH) work after establishing and reorganizing other specialized agencies and administrative organizations under the Hanoi People's Committee.

Accordingly, the City People's Committee requests the Departments, branches and sectors under the City People's Committee to continue to urgently, fully, resolutely and effectively implement the assigned tasks in the Directives, Projects, Decisions, Programs, Plans, Telegrams and directive documents of the City People's Committee on fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue work according to their functions and tasks;

Periodically report on the results of the implementation of assigned tasks according to regulations. For departments and branches reorganized according to Resolution No. 06/NQ-HDND dated February 25, 2025, it is necessary to review, receive and deploy tasks on fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue, report the results according to the instructions and decisions of the City People's Committee to implement according to the new functions and tasks.

The City People's Committee assigns the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to comprehensively direct the state management of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue in their localities according to regulations, and at the same time coordinate with the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department to advise on the implementation of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue work previously under the authority of the district-level police;

Make a list of focal units and individuals advising on this work and send it to the City Police before March 24, 2025;

At the same time, continue to direct, guide, inspect and urge the People's Committees at the commune level to perform the functions and tasks of State management of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue in the area according to the provisions of law;

The City Police shall preside over, guide, urge, inspect and summarize the implementation of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue tasks of the units, and at the same time report the implementation results to the City People's Committee according to regulations.
