Honoring the Top 100 enterprises winning the Vietnam Golden Star Award 2021.

The application period for the 2024 Vietnam Golden Star Award will end before August 30, 2024. Mr. Nguyen Doan Thang, Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, updated information with reporters from Investment Newspaper.

“There is still 1 month for businesses that want to have the opportunity to join the community of more than 2,300 products and brands of Sao Vang Dat Viet to complete their application and register to participate at the contacts that we have announced. That is the Young Entrepreneurs Association of the province or city where the business is registered or send it to Dau Tu Newspaper, Business Forum Magazine. Businesses under ministries and branches can submit their application to the Youth Union of that ministry or branch. For businesses that have won the Sao Vang Dat Viet Award, large central enterprises or some other special cases can submit it directly to the Central Office of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association,” Mr. Thang clarified the information that businesses interested in the Award should pay attention to.

As planned, the preliminary selection will take place in the first half of September 2024, selecting candidates for the actual assessment round, expected in the second half of September 2024.

Appraisal delegation No. 28 led by Mr. Le Trong Minh, member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, Editor-in-Chief of Investment Newspaper ( speaking) conducted an on-site appraisal of enterprises participating in the 2021 Vietnam Golden Star Award.

The on-site assessment of candidate enterprises in the Final Round is a very special and elaborate feature of the Vietnam Golden Star Award. In each award period, dozens of assessment teams with the participation of economic experts, leaders of leading enterprises, leaders of the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises and media agencies travel tens of thousands of kilometers to each enterprise to directly assess the enterprise's operations, determine the accuracy of the application documents, and obtain additional information related to the enterprise.

"The dossiers of enterprises submitted to the National General Selection Council always have accurate comments about the enterprise from the appraisal team. In the previous award ceremony, in 2021, when the pandemic had passed its tense stage, but still existed, some appraisal teams were forced to conduct the award online, but always ensured the requirement of direct communication with business leaders and representatives of organizations within the enterprise to have realistic assessments. Thanks to that, many contents that enterprises did not declare were recognized by the appraisal team and given high scores. On the contrary, there were also some enterprises that lost points when they could not explain the information recorded in the dossier," Mr. Thang added.

This year, the final round will take place at the end of September 2024, selecting the TOP10, TOP100 and TOP200 Golden Stars of Vietnam in 2024. The award ceremony will take place in October, celebrating the anniversary of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day on October 13, 2024," Mr. Thang added.

As a rule, brands participating in voting and winning awards must meet international competition criteria across 5 groups of criteria.

Including the competitive capacity and market position of branded products; Technology, environment and quality management; Brand building and development; Business management and operation; Business achievements in production, business and social activities.
