Gia Lai City Trail Dream of the Great Forest 2024 is a race organized by the People's Committee of Pleiku City in coordination with the People's Committee of Chu Pah District (Gia Lai), VietRace365 Joint Stock Company, with the support of the main sponsor HAGL Joint Stock Company and other sponsors. Gia Lai City Trail Dream of the Great Forest 2024 will be one of the major sports activities in Gia Lai in 2024.
Gia Lai City Trail 2023 Dream of the Great Forest race has attracted many domestic and foreign athletes to participate.
This is the second year the race has been held and has become an annual event in Pleiku City. The race will be held on November 16 and 17, 2024. Athletes will compete from 3:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with 4 distances: 42.195 km, 21 km, 10 km and 5 km. The race will have mixed terrain, combining street running, trails, and hills in Pleiku City and Chu Pah District. It is expected that the race will attract about 6,000 - 7,000 athletes.
The special attraction of the Gia Lai City Trail Giac Mo Dai Ngan 2024 race is that the time of organization is also the time when Gia Lai has the most beautiful weather of the year. The organization area and the running route are beautiful, poetic but full of challenges. Athletes will run through historical landmarks, typical hills and mountains of Pleiku mountain town such as: Bien Ho (likened to Pleiku's eyes), Buu Minh ancient temple, Chu Dang Ya volcano, the road with hundred-year-old pine trees, wild sunflower road... Thereby, it will bring athletes experiences and discoveries about majestic landscapes and nature.
