Night Run Raises 500 Million VND for the Fund for the Poor

The success of the 2023 tournament is the motivation for the organizers to maintain the tournament in the context of the increasing proliferation of running tournaments in Ho Chi Minh City as well as the whole country today. District 1 Midnight Run is basically different from other tournaments because it is only located in the central area of ​​District 1. But that is what brings excitement to runners. Because not everyone has the opportunity to experience, see and breathe the fresh, cool night air while moving through the beautiful streets of District 1.

According to the Organizing Committee, the tournament will take place from October 11 to 13 with 3 events of 5, 10 and 21 km with many participants and ages having started to register. It is expected that about 6,000 athletes will compete at the starting point and the finish line located on Le Loi Street. According to Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dung, a member of the Organizing Committee, this night race is also a challenge for health training, improving qualities and training will to improve work efficiency.

Not only a sporting event, the "District 1 Midnight Run 2024" also has a profound humanitarian meaning when athletes and the Organizing Committee will contribute 500 million VND to the fund for the poor in District 1.
