On the morning of August 10, SJC gold bars were listed by SJC Company at VND76.5 million/tael for purchase and VND78.5 million/tael for sale - stable compared to yesterday. The difference in gold buying and selling prices continued to be maintained at a high level of VND2 million/tael.

While the price of gold bars remained stable, the price of gold rings and 24K gold jewelry of all kinds increased following the world gold price. SJC Company traded gold rings at 76.25 million VND/tael for buying and 77.6 million VND/tael for selling - an increase of 100,000 VND compared to yesterday, marking the second consecutive day of price increase.

PNJ Company sells gold rings at 77.55 million VND; Bao Tin Minh Chau Company sells lower, only 77.48 million VND/tael.

However, domestic gold prices still fluctuated more slowly than the increase in world gold prices. The price of this precious metal on the international market closed the trading week at 2,431 USD/ounce, up 6 USD/ounce compared to the previous session. This is also the second consecutive increase in world gold prices.

World gold prices continued to surpass the $2,400/ounce mark amid increased demand for gold as a safe haven, with the USD index (DXY) falling to 102.9 points.

Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 74 million VND/tael.
