The price of gold rings decreased for the third consecutive day following the world. In the international market, the precious metal continued to decline, falling below the 2,400 USD/ounce range. At 9:00 a.m. Vietnam time, the world gold price was at 2,385 USD/ounce, down another 25 USD/ounce compared to yesterday morning.

If calculated from the peak of gold price last week at 2,470 USD/ounce, each ounce of gold has "evaporated" nearly 100 USD (about 2.75 million VND/tael). Gold price continues to decrease despite other financial markets such as stocks recovering strongly after the previous sell-off.

Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 72.9 million VND/tael. The precious metal on the world market has decreased rapidly, causing the difference with the domestic gold price to widen. The world gold price is about 4.3 million VND lower than the gold ring price and about 6 million VND/tael lower than the SJC gold bar price.
