In the 2024-2025 school year, Da Nang announced full tuition support from kindergarten to grade 12, Long An reduced 50% for preschool children under 5 years old, exempted secondary school tuition, Ba Ria-Vung Tau supported 100% of tuition for secondary school level, partially supported for 3-4 year old preschool children, high school students and continuing education. The announced levels are the basis for localities to spend budgets and implement exemptions and reductions.
According to the Government's roadmap, from the 2025-2026 school year, secondary school students nationwide will be exempt from tuition fees.
