Nearly 2.3 million visitors to Ha Long City in the first quarter of 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, Ha Long City welcomed nearly 2.3 million visitors, equal to 105% compared to the same period in 2024. Of which, international visitors reached over 720,000. Total revenue from tourism reached 6,345 billion VND, equal to 144% compared to the same period in 2024.

In 2025, the city will actively and effectively implement the Project "Ha Long, the Festival City" with 17 key events, evenly distributed in all areas. In the first quarter of 2025 alone, 5 activities were organized: New Year Countdown Art Program; Spring Writing; Ba Men Temple Festival; Bang Ca Village Festival; Cherry Blossom Festival.

Along with that, the tourism industry also promotes connection and cooperation in tourism development with a number of domestic and international localities, especially with Chinese localities and the cruise market. The city also strengthens state management in receiving and handling feedback from people and tourists to ensure a healthy tourism business environment.

In the second quarter of 2025, a series of tourism activities and events branded by Ha Long City have been developed and are ready to be held during the peak summer season, such as: Ha Long Carnival 2025; Beer and Squid Festival; Lion, Lion and Dragon Festival; Tran Quoc Nghien Temple Festival; Kite Festival; Motorized Kite and Paragliding Festival; Ha Long Fun Wheels Festival; Sports Sailing Festival; Traditional Dragon Boat Racing Festival of Ha Long City; Hot Air Balloon Festival; Ripe Guava Festival; Full Moon Festival; Artistic Light Performance Festival on Heritage Bay...

In addition, Ha Long City continues to diversify forms and tourism products, improve the quality and competitiveness of tourism services, especially high-end resort tourism products, high-quality sea and island tourism, tourism products, night services, onshore and in Ha Long Bay; continue to maintain, improve the quality and renew existing tourism products in the area.
