Chinese media also reported that the company raised hourly wages for workers from August to 26 yuan ($3.63), up from 25 yuan in July, along with a 7,500 yuan bonus for experienced workers who return to work at the factory.
In addition to its largest iPhone assembly center in Zhengzhou, Foxconn also has factories in Shenzhen, Chengdu and Yantai.
The flagship factory is famous for hiring heavily ahead of major product launches, resulting in high turnover among its workforce of more than 1 million.

During peak production season, the average monthly salary can range from 5,000 yuan to 7,000 yuan including overtime. During low season, the average salary can drop to 3,000 yuan to 5,000 yuan due to the lack of overtime.
The next generation of the “Apple” iPhone is receiving much anticipation as Apple will upgrade artificial intelligence (AI) features to boost sales.
