The world's largest airline arrives in Da Nang

On March 3, 2025, Emirates officially announced its expansion in Asia, including direct flights to Da Nang with a frequency of 4 flights/week, connecting the city with markets in the Middle East, Europe and the US. Flights will depart on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, with 35 business class seats and 368 economy class seats.

According to Emirates, the flight schedules will be optimally designed to easily transport passengers from major cities in Europe such as London, Paris, Amsterdam, Manchester, Milan, Rome or major cities in the US to Da Nang.

“The expansion to Da Nang comes on the heels of the signing of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the UAE and Vietnam. We believe the new route will enhance bilateral trade and economic cooperation between our two countries,” said Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer.

This will also open up opportunities to attract and serve tourists, and at the same time prepare conditions for connection, trade and business when Da Nang operates as an international financial center and free trade zone".

With direct flights connecting Da Nang with the Middle East, Europe and the US, Emirates brings in a high-quality source of international tourists, especially those from the UK, France, Germany, UAE and the US – markets with high spending levels and demand for luxury resorts.

At the same time, the opening of this flight route also contributes to making Da Nang a leading MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and events) tourism center in the region, as it helps the city more conveniently welcome international business delegations, experts, and investors. The development of the luxury tourism segment not only promotes high-end resorts but also creates motivation to upgrade tourism infrastructure and services.
