Innovation in culinary experiences to stimulate tourism in Hanoi

Responding to the tourism stimulus program by the Hanoi Department of Tourism and towards the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 2024), 4-star and 5-star hotels in Hanoi continue to introduce many programs and preferential product packages to attract tourists and Hanoi residents to experience accommodation and use services.

According to Mr. Nguyen Hong Minh - Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism, recently hotels in the capital have had more innovative policies than before, in order to better serve tourists and residents: "Discouraging price reduction, units have prioritized improving the quality of products and services to bring satisfaction to residents and tourists when experiencing at hotels. In addition, there has been coordination between hotels and travel and transportation units in Hanoi to create preferential policies, suitable to the needs of tourists".

Recently, the Korean-style bakery "Delica-Hans" was opened at LOTTE Shopping Center (Ba Dinh District). Here, diners have a wide range of culinary options with Korean cultural features, such as exquisite cakes or high-class chocolates. The exclusive cake recipe from the Korean brand ensures that each product is handcrafted, meticulously prepared by a team of chefs from selected ingredients, imbued with the style and flavor of the "land of kimchi".

Managed by the 5-star LOTTE Hanoi Hotel, Delica-Hans Bakery is oriented to become an interesting highlight, bringing visitors a new and inspiring culinary experience about Korea. From now until August 30, 2024, visitors here can participate in the stuffed croissant picking challenge, with the opportunity to own cute gifts.

At Hanoi Hotel (Ba Dinh District), Golden Dragon Restaurant introduces a new menu of exquisite desserts to welcome Hanoi's autumn. Bringing a breath of fresh air, the "Autumn Indulgence" menu includes 5 unique autumn desserts, each meticulously prepared to bring delicious flavors and rich nutrition. For example, the dessert "Lotus seeds and red apples stewed with pear", with the rich flavor of lotus seeds and sweet red apples creating a characteristic aroma, will enhance the emotions of visitors during their visit to Hanoi. Also part of the culinary experience chain, this hotel has just launched a special collection of moon cakes in 2024, aiming to bring customers memorable experiences.

Pan Pacific Hanoi (Ba Dinh District) also introduces a culinary program at Ming Restaurant, with a menu of rich dim sum dishes, converging the quintessence of Chinese cuisine. In addition, visitors have the option of a day trip with the "Hanoi Moment" tour, including an afternoon tea experience at the hotel and cultural programs such as "Decoding the Imperial Citadel", "The Quintessence of Daoism" or "Legend of Youth"...

Notably, the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi (Hoan Kiem District) will welcome culinary experts from La Tour d'Argent restaurant (Paris, France) this coming October. Taking over the hotel's Le Beaulieu restaurant for 5 days, the French chefs will bring the exquisite flavors and culinary arts from Paris across 10,000km to the capital Hanoi, from the unique performance of "cutting duck in the air" to the wine burning technique to create Mademoiselle crêpes.
