In the first two months of the year, despite many difficulties and challenges, with the close, timely and effective direction of the Government, the Prime Minister and ministries and branches, together with the efforts of all levels, branches, business community and people in the province, the socio-economic situation of the province has basically stabilized. The province has organized meetings, encouraged businesses, started a number of projects, created a vibrant atmosphere, competed in production and business and promoted the investment environment of the province. Directed to resolve difficulties and obstacles in investment and production activities of enterprises, accelerated the progress of site clearance to implement projects, especially key projects. In the first two months of the year, the value of industrial production is estimated at nearly 18,000 billion VND, up 16.92% over the same period in 2024; The trade and service sector continued to grow, with total retail sales of goods and service revenue estimated at VND15,247 billion, up 13.9%. Provincial leaders worked with relevant sectors to direct the implementation of 18 key projects; removed difficulties and obstacles, accelerated the progress of investment projects using non-state budget capital in the province, and directed the implementation of housing development projects in the province.

In 2025, the disbursement rate in the first two months of the year is estimated to reach 6.2% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister and 4.5% of the provincial plan.

In the field of social housing, the province has planned 66 land plots with a total area of ​​about 137 hectares, with a scale of about 46,881 apartments. Currently, there are 8 social housing projects with a total of 1,753 apartments completed. According to the 2025 plan, the province plans to implement 24 social housing projects with a scale of about 62.3 hectares, providing 15,537 apartments. Responding to the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" launched by the Prime Minister, up to now, Thai Binh province has started construction and repair of 1,088 houses for poor and near-poor households (reaching 50.23% of the plan), of which 536 houses have been completed and put into use, 552 houses have started construction, repair and continue to be completed; Strive to complete the goal of eliminating 100% of temporary and dilapidated houses before June 30, 2025.
