On the evening of March 13, the closing ceremony of the 9th Coffee Festival with the theme "Buon Ma Thuot - Coffee City" brought an artistic space combining tradition and modernity, honoring coffee culture and the identity of the Central Highlands.

The opening performance was a dance performance "Buon Ma Thuot - Coffee City", followed by a gong concert, a performance of ethnic costumes and songs praising the nature and people of the Central Highlands.

In particular, the choir "Buon Ma Thuot New Day" with the participation of hundreds of artists closed the festival in a vibrant and brilliant atmosphere.

Mr. Le Minh Quang, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City, shared: "I not only enjoyed delicious coffee but also immersed myself in a truly impressive cultural space. This is the first time I have clearly felt the atmosphere of such a large and vibrant festival in Buon Ma Thuot."

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thien Van - Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee - emphasized that this year's festival was a success beyond expectations, affirming its position as "Vietnam's Coffee Capital" and bringing Dak Lak closer to its goal of becoming "The Coffee City of the World".

In particular, according to Mr. Van, for the first time, the General Director of the International Coffee Organization (ICO) attended and spoke at the opening ceremony, demonstrating the special interest of the international community in the Vietnamese coffee industry.

Not only a cultural event, this festival also marks important steps in economic development .

On this occasion, Dak Lak province started many large-scale projects and signed international trade cooperation agreements, opening up opportunities to expand the coffee export market and promote cultural exchange.

"The successful festival not only strengthens the Buon Ma Thuot coffee brand on the world map but also creates a foundation to realize the goal of 'Coffee City of the World' in the future," Mr. Van emphasized.
