Today, August 12, the 17th Hanoi City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) held its 16th Conference, chaired by Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the VFF Committee of the City Nguyen Lan Huong and Vice Chairmen of the VFF Committee of the City.

Here, with a high sense of responsibility, the members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City gave many profound, specific and practical opinions to discuss the following contents: unifying the contents of the work of the 18th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi City, term 2024-2029; contributing ideas to the Draft Political Report of the 10th National Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029.

Speaking at the Conference, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi Nguyen Lan Huong acknowledged that the opinions expressed at the Conference were in high agreement with the contents of preparations for the organization of the 18th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi, term 2024-2029, and there were many enthusiastic opinions contributing to the draft Political Report to be submitted to the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029. Based on the opinions of the elders and dignitaries, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi will fully absorb them to synthesize and send to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Affirming that there are only 9 days left until the 18th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi, term 2024-2029, Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong stated: In order to successfully organize the Congress, immediately after this Conference, the Logistics Subcommittee of the Congress will send to the delegates and guests documents and gifts for the Congress, thereby requesting that you continue to study the documents, grasp the Regulations and schedule of the Congress, promote a sense of responsibility and actively participate in the activities of the Congress. In particular, heads of delegations need to grasp the number and composition of their delegations, coordinate to inform the members of the delegations about the requirements of the Congress so that the activities take place on schedule, ensuring quality, efficiency and substance.

In addition, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City requested member organizations and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels of the City to organize widespread propaganda about the Congress documents, peaking from now until August 25, 2024. In particular, focusing on visual propaganda, on the website system, fanpage, large screens at the headquarters of agencies and units; organizing the inauguration and installation of signs of works welcoming the Congress, cultural and artistic activities welcoming the Congress..., to create a spreading effect so that the Congress is truly a festival of all classes of the Capital's people.

In addition, units assigned to organize important events such as forums and cultural festivals to celebrate the success of the Congress need to base on the established plan to be proactive and active in preparation. At the same time, continue to closely coordinate with specialized departments and the Office of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City to prepare the contents of the Congress; seek the leadership of the Party Committee and the coordination of the government to create all favorable conditions for the activities to take place successfully.
