Youth Union bases in the district have actively implemented many activities such as: regularly paying attention to grasping the thoughts and aspirations of young union members about job needs to provide timely support; promoting communication about start-up models, good economic performance to raise awareness about start-ups, self-employment among young union members; innovating counseling and vocational training for young union members, monitoring and evaluating the implementation of State policies on vocational training and job creation for young people; directing commune and town unions to proactively survey and grasp information on the labor market and job needs of young people, organizing career counseling sessions, supporting employment for young union members in communes, towns and high schools; labor market information, State policies and guidelines on careers, jobs, activities accompanying young people in learning about labor and careers, etc.

For the grassroots youth union of communes and towns, it focuses on maintaining the activities of youth business clubs; youth economic development clubs. This is a place for activities, exchanges, and learning production experiences to help young people develop the economy and get rich legitimately in their homeland. The District Youth Union effectively implements the transfer of scientific and technical advances, aiming to apply science and technology in start-up projects, business establishment, and participation in economic development of young people in general. Support young people to access preferential loan sources, coordinate with the Social Policy Bank of Yen Dinh district to support entrusted loan activities for young people to develop the local economy... In 2024, the District Youth Union has 25 ideas and initiatives of young people supported by the Youth Union to implement and realize; 15 creative start-up projects of young people are supported through the form of youth start-up loans, exceeding the set target; Support capital trust with social policy bank for young people to start businesses with many economic models to promote internal strength, exploit local strengths, and get rich legitimately.

As of April 2025, the total outstanding debt from youth start-up capital in the district reached over 6.5 billion VND. The whole district has nearly 400 economic development models and 120 enterprises owned by young people; of which about 80 models and enterprises have an income of 150 million VND/year or more. Many dynamic and creative young union members in production have risen up to become rich legitimately, contributing to the effective implementation of local poverty reduction work. Typical examples include: Phuc Thinh rice vermicelli production facility of Trinh Dinh Nhac (residential group 6, Quy Loc town); manufacturing vermicelli making and drying machines of young man Trinh Khac Minh; raising white-feathered chickens on a scale of 10,000/batch by young man Pham Van Trung in Quy Loc town; integrated farm of young man Nguyen Minh Chuc in Yen Lam town; growing Dien grapefruit by young man Trinh Dinh Quoc Viet in Yen Ninh commune...

In addition to the rural youth, the high school students are also interested, timely orienting them to choose suitable careers. In fact, in previous years, many students and young union members were still hesitant and confused in choosing a career and school after graduating from high school, leading to failing the university entrance exam or studying in a profession that does not match their abilities, or not finding a suitable job after graduation. Therefore, every year, the District Youth Union regularly coordinates with the District People's Committee, functional departments of high schools in the district to organize "Job Fair" attracting thousands of young union members, students and workers to participate. At the festival, many businesses consulted on domestic job markets and provided labor recruitment to work at factories and enterprises at home and abroad, consulted young union members and study abroad markets, labor export, enrollment programs of universities and colleges; Organize job fairs at the district center and communes to connect businesses, helping students access many recruitment positions or fields of work. From there, help the Youth Union and students determine the next direction and goals on the path to career after graduating from high school. On average, each year, the whole district has over 85% of young people receiving career guidance, over 70% of young people receiving vocational training. In 2024, the District Youth Union provided career guidance to nearly 5,000 young people, exceeding the set target.
