Fifteenth Congress of the Vietnamese Patriotic Front in Haiphong

In the coming period, Hai Phong City Patriotic Front should actively seek committee-level opinions and coordinate with the government to propose work programs, especially patriotic racing movements, campaigns adhering to ideals, major decisions of the city and pressing issues from basic practice. The front needs to select a number of focused contents to be developed into topics to create highlights such as: Coordination with local governments mobilizing people to abide by Party regulations, state laws on land reclamation, liberating lands for implementing socio-economic development projects; People's movement solving inefficient mini factories; Building civilization, model urbanism, implementation of social policies, sustainable poverty reduction. .

Comrade Đỗ Văn Chiến, Member of the Political Department, Party Central Secretary, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front expressed the results achieved by the Hai Phong City Fatherland Front in recent times and suggested that the Congress should focus on discussing and agree to implement five contents.

In the next term, Vietnamese Fatherland Front of Hai Phong City should do even better as a political nucleus, mobilize people to promote the city's glorious tradition, continue unity and strive to successfully implement Political Ministry Resolution No. 45-NQ/TW on building and developing Hai Phong city by 2030, vision until 2045, realize aspirations to build Haiphong city is beautiful, civilized, modern; high level development city, leading the country in terms of patriotic movements.

Executive Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Commission in Hai Phong city XV, term 2024-2029 to launch Congress

The congress unanimously elected 93 members to the Fifteenth Committee of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front in Hai Phong city, 2024-2029; unanimousally elected a delegation from the Haiphong City Patriotic Front to attend the Tenth Congress of Delegates of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front, 2024-2029, consisting of nine official representatives and two alternate representatives.

Comrade Dao Trọng Đức, Member of the Standing Committee of Hai Phong City Council, Party Secretary - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Commission in Haiphong city for the XIV term 2019-2024, was re-elected by the General Assembly to serve as President of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee in Haiphung city for the XV term 2024-2029.

The 15th Congress of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front in Hai Phong city, 2024-2029 with the theme "Unity - Democracy - Innovation - Development" took place on July 31 and August 1. This is an important political event aimed at raising awareness and responsibility of both the political system and people's classes in implementing the Party's strategy to strengthen the power of national unity.   

During the last term, Hai Phong City Fatherland Front organized more than 2,600 independent surveys, coordinated participation in over 4,000 surveys, focusing on contents and areas of interest to many citizens.
