Marking positive development

Presenting a summary report at the Congress, Secretary of the Economic and Urban Newspaper Youth Union, term V Ho Thuy Tien emphasized: During the 2022 - 2024 term, the Economic and Urban Newspaper Youth Union marked the positive development with many exciting and practical activities contributing to the common activities of the entire agency as well as a significant increase in the number of youth union members.

With 34 members, during the term, the Youth Union has been active and made great efforts in performing professional tasks, enthusiastic and responsible in Youth Union activities. From there, a team of dynamic, creative and enthusiastic youth union members was formed.

The number of members of the Youth Union has been constantly growing, which has facilitated the organization of youth movements. Since then, the Youth Union and youth movements of the Youth Union have left their mark and created the image and trust of the Youth Union in the political system of the agency and the Youth Union of the Block.

Every year, the Economic & Urban Newspaper Youth Union sends its members to participate in all activities organized and launched by the Hanoi City Youth Union. The Youth Union also implements major movements launched by the Youth Union in conjunction with the activities of the agency. Youth Union members are pioneers and actively participate in the digital transformation movement among the youth, especially in the transition to implementing the newspaper's Converged Newsroom.

Many members who are reporters have been active, proactive, and closely involved in reality to produce high-quality journalistic works that reflect the breath of life, which have been well received by readers and highly appreciated by the Editorial Board. Some young reporters have won the Ngo Tat To Journalism Award; the Journalism Award on Party Building and the Political System of Hanoi; the Journalism Award on Cultural Development and Building Elegant and Civilized Hanoians.

In particular, the Youth Union of the Newspaper has always been proactive in organizing activities to call for support, or coordinating with units in the Emulation Cluster No. 2, coordinating with the Youth Union of the block to organize activities to care for and help children and members in difficult circumstances. As a result, many children in difficult circumstances have been supported with more than 120 million VND.

During the past term, the Executive Committee of the 5th term Youth Union for the 2022 - 2024 term determined to strive to achieve 5 basic targets and up to this point, all targets have been achieved and exceeded the initial set levels.

Pioneer in digital transformation

Speaking at the conference, on behalf of the Party Committee, Editorial Board, Party Secretary, Editor-in-Chief of Economic & Urban Newspaper Nguyen Thanh Loi acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Youth Union in the past term. In addition to participating in the general activities of the agency, the Youth Union has been active, proactive, and creative in organizing youth activities and movements, successfully completing assigned tasks.

Regarding the tasks in the coming time, Editor-in-Chief of Economic and Urban Newspaper Nguyen Thanh Loi suggested that, promoting the pioneering spirit of the youth, the Youth Union will continue to make many contributions to organizing community activities, being one of the units that foster and introduce resources to the Party. In particular, with the pioneering role in digital transformation, Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Thanh Loi hopes that the Youth Union will build models and clubs for youth union members to organize investigative reportage series, applying new media technology to the working process.

At the Congress, Editor-in-Chief of Economic & Urban Newspaper Nguyen Thanh Loi hopes that the delegates attending the Congress will select outstanding, outstanding and responsible members to have a capable, enthusiastic and responsible Youth Union Executive Committee to develop the activities of the Youth Union strongly, contributing to the overall development of the Economic & Urban Newspaper in the coming time.

At the Congress, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi City Agencies Youth Union Trinh Anh Tu praised the results that the Economic & Urban Newspaper Youth Union has achieved in the past time, which has actively contributed to the common activities of the Hanoi City Agencies Youth Union.

The Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Hanoi City Agencies hopes that in the coming time, the Youth Union will closely follow the leadership and direction of the Party Committee of the agency and the Youth Union of the block to build an action program suitable for the tasks; actively express the voice of the youth in the common activities of the agency and the Youth Union of the city agencies. At the same time, focus on doing a good job of political and ideological education for the youth union members in the Youth Union. Develop criteria and deploy for the union members to register specific contents of training and striving to study and follow the example, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh; well implement the Code of Conduct for cadres, civil servants and public employees of Hanoi City and Kinh te & Do thi newspaper...

With a high spirit of solidarity and unity, the Congress wisely selected and elected the Executive Committee of the Economic and Urban Newspaper Youth Union for the 6th term, 2024-2027, consisting of 5 comrades. Comrade Ho Thuy Tien was re-elected as Secretary of the Youth Union; Comrade Lai Quang Tan held the position of Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union; members included: Comrades Dang Cao Ky, Nguyen Le Van, Nguyen Trung Hoang Nam.
