FPT commits to support Da Nang in software, hardware, human resource training and content to develop semiconductor chips, artificial intelligence, and long-term development in the city for a minimum of 5 years.

Attracting FPT to set up an office in Da Nang Software Park is in line with the city's strategic goal of developing the microchip industry.

For Marvell Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd. (a branch of Marvell Technology, Inc. headquartered in the US), this enterprise commits to support software, hardware, human resource training and content to develop semiconductor chips, artificial intelligence, and long-term development in the city for a minimum of 5 years.

Attracting Marvell Vietnam Technology Co., Ltd. to set up an office in Da Nang Software Park is the result of the city's leaders' contact, exchange and work with partners and large technology corporations in semiconductor microchips.

This is also the enterprise that the City People's Committee signed a strategic partnership memorandum of understanding with in early 2025.

According to the report, recognizing Marvell Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd. as the first strategic partner with foreign investment will pave the way, encourage and create confidence for subsequent foreign-invested enterprises.

According to the City People's Committee, the city's strategic goal by 2030 is to become one of the three major centers in Vietnam for semiconductor design and artificial intelligence application development; increase to at least 30 semiconductor design and design service enterprises; strive to attract at least 1-2 packaging and testing enterprises.

Attracting large domestic and foreign enterprises such as FPT and Marvell to develop in Da Nang contributes to enhancing the city's image.

These are also the first enterprises, opening the way for the development of semiconductor microchips according to the Project on Development of Semiconductor Microchips and Artificial Intelligence approved by the City People's Committee.
