The Da Nang Statistical Office recorded that the total number of visitors served by accommodation establishments in the area in July was estimated at 1.3 million, up 14.9% over the previous month and 48.8% over the same period in 2023. Of which, international visitors were estimated at 427.1 thousand, up 8.9% over the previous month and 23.3% over the same period; domestic tourists were estimated at 906.2 thousand, up 17.9% and 64.9% respectively.

In the first 7 months of 2024, the total number of guests served by accommodation establishments in Da Nang is estimated at 6.6 million, an increase of 33% over the same period in 2023. Of which, international guests are estimated at 2.5 million, an increase of 34.7%; domestic guests are estimated at 4.2 million, an increase of 31.9%.

Along with the increase in the number of tourists to Da Nang, revenue from accommodation and food services in the area also increased sharply, estimated at VND 2,772 billion in July 2024, up 10% over the previous month and up 29.8% over the same period last year.

Of which, revenue from accommodation services is estimated at VND 1,095 billion, up 15% and 28% respectively compared to the previous month and the same period in 2023; revenue from food and beverage services is estimated at VND 1,677 billion, up 7% and 31% respectively.

In the first 7 months of 2024, Da Nang's accommodation and catering service revenue is estimated at VND 15,700 billion, accounting for 19.7% of the total and increasing by 23.5% over the same period last year. Of which, accommodation revenue in the first 7 months is estimated at VND 5,759 billion, up 34.2%; food and beverage revenue is estimated at VND 9,942 billion, up 18% over the same period.

According to the Da Nang Statistics Office, the stimulus program "Enjoy Da Nang 2024" from July 17 to 21, the international fireworks festival DIFF 2024 from June 8 to July 13 have become the focal events that have created an explosive summer in Da Nang. The promotion and promotion of domestic and international MICE tourism (tourism combined with conferences and seminars) has made the city's tourism activities even more vibrant in the summer of 2024.
