Nam Dinh FC recently announced a quality contract with foreign player Walber from Brazil. He is 1m87 tall, right-footed, plays as a center-back with agility and good judgment.
Before joining Nam Dinh, Walber played for famous teams in his hometown, playing in Serie A and Serie B such as Athletico Paranaense and Cuiabá Esporte Clube.
During his time at Athletico Paranaense, Walber was teammates with Brazilian internationals Bruno Guimarães (who now plays for Newcastle in the Premier League) and Renan Lodi (former Atletico Madrid player).
In addition, Walber was also coached by coach Dorival Júnior when playing at Athletico Paranaense. This coach recently led the Brazilian national team to play in Copa America 2024. Currently, this central defender is valued at 150,000 Euros by Transfer Markt.
In the upcoming season, Nam Dinh will be allowed to use 5 foreign players. The defending V-League champions will retain 3 old foreign players.
