The photo and video contest “Happy Vietnam 2024” organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications in coordination with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists is one of the key activities in the series of media events and exhibitions on human rights in Vietnam in 2024.
The contest aims to discover and honor meaningful moments and stories about all aspects of Vietnam's political, economic, cultural and social life through photos and videos by domestic and international authors, vividly affirming Vietnam's achievements in the field of human rights...
Based on the monthly award criteria in Decision No. 51/QD-TTĐN dated June 25, 2024, the Organizing Committee of the Photo and Video Contest "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam 2024" has selected and announced the following award-winning works for July:
* Photo category:
- First Prize: Work: " About Trang An Heritage". Author: Nguyen Xuan Truong
Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex is a World Cultural and Natural Heritage, where the quintessence of nature and culture from around the world is combined. In the limestone mountains, Trang An is like a wonderful picture with a system of caves, valleys, tropical forests and unique religious architecture. This place also preserves traces of prehistoric people and rich cultures, the intersection between the past and the present. With that unique blend, Trang An is a destination for those who want to explore and experience. Every year, this place welcomes millions of domestic and international tourists to visit and experience the unique cultural and natural heritage in the world.
2. Second Prize: Work: "Spreading the joy of running ". Author: Nguyen Van Truong Thi
Happy to conquer & win myself in running! I have been running for nearly 04 years & my goal is to improve my health. Not only that, I have conquered my goals BY MYSELF such as: running 21km, running 21km under 2 hours & completing 42km under 4h30'! Maintain running every day & spread that joy & happiness to everyone!
3. Third Prize: Work: "Dalat in the season of purple phoenix flowers". Author: Nguyen Huu Thang
In March, Da Lat wears a new coat. The purple color around the streets, beside the porches, hidden behind old mansions creates a dreamy look for the mountain town, captivating flower lovers.

- First Prize: Work: " Dawn on the Northwest Mountain Top ". Author: Vu Tue Giang
2. Second Prize : Work: "The beauty of Vietnam day and night" . Author: Tran Minh Thao
3. Third Prize : Work: " Smiles of Highland Children ". Author: Pham Huynh Thanh Tuan
* The winning authors will receive the following prizes:

* Awarding format:
– Award ceremony in person at the Headquarters of the Department of Foreign Information – 115 Tran Duy Hung, Cau Giay, Hanoi.
– For authors who live far away and are unable to receive the award in person, the Organizing Committee will contact and send the award by post.
In 2024, the Photo and Video Contest "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam" will continue to be organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications in coordination with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists on the website. https://happy.vietnam.vn is open to all Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and over. The contest aims to honor individuals and groups with positive information products, making practical contributions to the propaganda and promotion of a beautiful image of Vietnam to the world. Thereby helping people in the country, compatriots abroad and international friends access authentic images of the country, Vietnamese people, Vietnam's achievements in ensuring human rights, towards a happy Vietnam.
Each contest category (photo and video) has the following prizes and prize values:
– 01 Gold Medal: 70,000,000 VND
– 02 Silver Medals: 20,000,000 VND
– 03 Bronze Medals: 10,000,000 VND
– 10 Consolation prizes: 5,000,000 VND
– 01 most voted work: 5,000,000 VND
The winning authors will be invited by the Organizing Committee to attend the announcement ceremony and award prizes and certificates on live television broadcast of Vietnam Television.
| Launching the photo and video contest "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam 2024" The Organizing Committee will continue to receive entries and organize the Opening Ceremony of the exhibition and announce the award "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam 2024" expected in the fourth quarter of 2024. The contest rules are that the works must have been created from January 1, 2022 to the time of receiving the work and have not been submitted to or won any previous competitions or exhibitions. The contest consists of two categories: photos and videos. Entries must meet the following criteria: highly promote the image of Vietnam, its people, cultural and natural values throughout the country; arouse national pride and aspirations for development in all classes of people to join hands in building an increasingly prosperous, prosperous and happy Vietnam. Reflecting truthfully and vividly the development achievements in all aspects of Vietnam, especially in the process of innovation, development and international integration. Conveying valuable knowledge, attracting strong public interest and having wide influence at home and abroad. Contestants are Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and over. Each category has prizes and the prize value includes: 1 Gold Medal worth 70 million VND; 2 Silver Medals, each worth 20 million VND; 3 Bronze Medals, each worth 10 million VND; 10 Encouragement Prizes, each worth 5 million VND and 1 prize for the most voted work worth 5 million VND.
