National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 is a series of important events promoting tourism - culture - economy - society of Hue and the whole country.

The series of events contributes to promoting tourism development links between localities; responding to Hue becoming a centrally-governed city; celebrating the 50th anniversary of Hue Liberation (March 26, 1975 - March 26, 2025); combining with Hue Festival 2025 to create an international mark.

The Opening Ceremony of National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 will be held from 8:10 p.m. on March 25, 2025 at the main stage on the banks of the Perfume River, in front of Quoc Hoc School at 12 Le Loi Street, Hue City.

The opening program has the theme “Confession of the River”. This is a grand art program consisting of 3 chapters: Legend of a River – Recreating important historical milestones of Hue; Converging Rivers – Cultural exchange between regions and internationally; New Flow of Rivers – Journey of strong development and innovation of Hue.

The program brings together more than 800 professional Vietnamese artists, singers, and actors, along with art troupes from China, Korea, etc.
