Reporting on the digital transformation work and camera systems of the City Police, Colonel Le Duc Hung, Head of the Department of Telecommunications, Information Technology and Cryptography, Hanoi City Police said: In the past time, the City Police has closely followed the programs and plans on digital transformation of the Ministry of Public Security , the City Party Committee, and the City People's Committee; focusing on 6 main groups of tasks such as: Perfecting policy institutions, legal corridors; developing digital infrastructure; developing digital platforms; applications and services; ensuring security, information safety, network security and protecting State secrets in digital transformation; ensuring resources for digital transformation; cooperation, research, development and technology transfer.
Up to now, the City Police Department has closely followed the progress of implementing 15 basic goals by 2025 in the plan for the implementation phase of the digital transformation program in the People's Public Security until 2025, with a vision to 2030.
To effectively implement digital transformation tasks, the City Police Department has directed the issuance of nearly 2,000 documents of all kinds for consultation, consultation, and drafts to be sent to ministries, departments, and agencies of the city. At the same time, it has directed professional units to review the system of documents serving the implementation of Project 06 to advise on the completion of policies, laws, and provision of digital services related to the Law on Identification, the Law on Data, the Law on Electronic Transactions, etc.
During the digital transformation process, the City Police Department has done a good job of reviewing, simplifying, and restructuring the work process, monitoring, and inspecting the direction and operation work in the electronic environment to facilitate the collection, creation of digital data, and connection and sharing of information for direction and operation.
The City Police Department has coordinated with relevant functional units to provide comments and suggestions in building and perfecting the Ministry of Public Security's e- Government Framework , managing over 700 cameras of all kinds, and has completed upgrading and modernizing the infrastructure of the City Police Command Information Center to serve command and combat work in the City Police Department, ensuring the command and direction requirements of the City Police Department's leaders...
In addition, CATP has also strengthened and promoted coordination with vertical departments under the Ministry of Public Security in the field of digital transformation; coordination in performing professional tasks, training and sharing knowledge, experience, and specialized technology in the field of information technology application and development has been effectively implemented.

At the conference, under the direction of Colonel Nguyen Tien Dat, Deputy Director of the City Police Department, the units discussed the following contents: The current status of the traffic camera system managed and used by the Traffic Control Center of the Traffic Police Department; solutions to increase human resources for digital transformation, develop information technology applications in the City Police Department; improve the solutions of the City Police Command Information Center, work to ensure network security and safety in digital transformation and the current camera system... Each issue, especially difficulties and obstacles, were specifically directed to be resolved by the Deputy Director.

Speaking at the conference, emphasizing the importance of the digital transformation task in the era of national development, Major General Nguyen Hong Ky, Deputy Director of Hanoi City Police, requested that units focus resources on completing programs and plans on digital transformation in general and issues related to Project 06 in particular. For relevant functional departments, it is necessary to continue to focus on advising on completing the system of legal documents in the management field; systematizing and providing specific guidance and training on new regulations and standards related to the field in charge so that the implementation is unified, synchronous and effective; specifically answering recommendations and proposals on the digital transformation task.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Nguyen Thanh Tung - Director of Hanoi City Police Department directed the units to continue to build and perfect mechanisms and policies. Regarding the surveillance camera systems throughout the city, the Director of Hanoi City Police Department requested to accelerate the completion of the project "Expanding the surveillance camera system at key security and order targets in the city"; Complete the signing of the contract to implement the project "Renovating and upgrading the Traffic Control Center and peripheral equipment phase 2"; Complete the approval of the project policy "Upgrading the City Police Command Information Center and installing surveillance cameras, traffic command and control to serve security and order, and handle violations for the Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police Department".

For other digital infrastructure, the City Police Department units need to speed up the progress to ensure the deployment of transmission lines, meeting the needs of serving the police work according to the 3-level model from the Ministry of Public Security to the grassroots police.
Regarding resources for digital transformation, Major General Nguyen Thanh Tung requested to urgently review the number of officers trained in specialized and key skills to propose training, ensuring that they are assigned to perform digital transformation and telecommunications tasks at commune-level police units. Organize specialized training courses, develop a team of commanders and officers working in information technology and digital transformation in the City Police to improve the effectiveness of the police work of the Hanoi City Police.
