Mr. Nguyen Thien Tuan was born on May 16, 1957, in Thanh Hoa province. He has a Master's degree in Economics and has held many positions in units under the Ministry of Construction.

In 1990, at the age of 33, when the Ministry of Construction Guesthouse (the predecessor of today's DIC Corp) was established with the initial mission of doing tourism business and nursing work according to the plan of the Ministry of Construction, Mr. Nguyen Thien Tuan was appointed as Director of the Ministry of Construction Guesthouse in the South - Vung Tau City and has been with the company until now.

In 1993, following the State's policy on reorganizing production and business in the state-owned economic sector, the Ministry of Construction decided to establish the Tourism Construction Investment Company (TIIC). With great advantages, the company quickly entered the real estate market through large projects. The first was the DIC Chi Linh City Urban Area and continuously implemented large projects such as the DIC Dai Phuoc Dong Nai Eco-tourism Project with a scale of more than 464 hectares, total investment capital of 7,239 billion VND...

In 2008, DIC Corp was equitized into Construction Development Investment Corporation, increasing its charter capital to VND370 billion and over 30 member companies. At that time, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director Nguyen Thien Tuan was the representative of 32.5% of state capital at DIC Corp.

In August 2009, the company officially listed on the stock exchange with the trading code DIG. Under the leadership of Mr. Tuan, in 2017, DIC Corp officially switched to a private enterprise model when divesting 49.65% of state capital (equivalent to 118,260,261 shares).

Under the leadership of Mr. Nguyen Thien Tuan, DIC Corp has made many impressions and become one of the famous real estate enterprises in Vietnam. Currently, the company owns many large-scale projects such as Dai Phuoc Eco-tourism Area, Nam Vinh Yen New Urban Area, P4 Hau Giang Residential Area, Long Tan Tourist Area, Vi Thanh Commercial Residential Area, etc.

Mr. Tuan currently holds more than 46.8 million shares (7.68%). With the current market price of around VND23,000/share, Mr. Tuan's assets are approximately VND1,100 billion.

Chairman Nguyen Thien Tuan's wife only sold more than 10% of registered shares . Mrs. Le Thi Ha Thanh, wife of Chairman Nguyen Thien Tuan, only sold a small number of shares out of a total of 200,000 registered units.
