In the first 6 months of 2024, the Institute of Transport Strategy and Development has proactively and actively advised the Ministry on planning tasks, tasks of drafting legal documents, advising on norms, unit prices, fees and related regulations of the transport sector.

Typically, the Institute cooperates with the Vietnam Register to develop circulars regulating prices for Registration services.

Coordinate the development of a decree regulating toll collection on highways invested by the state from the state budget.

Participate in the joint survey delegation of the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Construction on urgent transport sector norms to amend Circular 12/2021/TT-BXD.

Coordinate with the Department of Science, Technology and Environment to develop a plan to implement the strategy for science, technology and innovation development to 2030 of the transport sector.

Participate in the working group of the Ministry of Transport to review legal documents related to cost management, construction estimate system, and determination of construction material prices at mines according to specific mechanisms, promptly recommend competent authorities to guide, amend, and promulgate to ensure compliance with reality.

Advise on circular regulating the price of vehicle profile preparation service for vehicles exempted from first-time inspection and reprinting service of inspection stamps and inspection certificates.

In the first 6 months of 2024, the Institute of Transport Strategy and Development also focused on developing strategies and advisory projects according to the functions, tasks, and tasks assigned by the Ministry.

The Institute has implemented 7 regular tasks according to the functions assigned to the Institute by the Ministry of Transport in 2024; implemented 10 projects, of which 6 projects have been completed and submitted to the Ministry, the remaining 4 projects will continue to be implemented and submitted to the Ministry in the last 6 months of 2024...

Mr. Khuat Viet Hung - Director of the Institute of Transport Strategy and Development, together with officials, civil servants and employees, objectively assessed the achieved results and frankly pointed out the shortcomings in the recent past.

Director Khuat Viet Hung requested that in the last 6 months of the year, all officers and employees continue to carry out the tasks of advising on projects and legal documents to ensure quality and progress; actively advise on norms, unit prices, fees and regulations related to the transport sector. In addition, perform other tasks well as required by the Ministry.

At the conference, through secret ballot, officers, civil servants and employees of the Institute of Transport Strategy and Development elected the People's Inspectorate for the 2024-2026 term, with three men: Nguyen Huy Hoang - Member, Inspection Committee of the Institute's Party Committee, Head of the Department of Transport Forecasting and Organization as Head of the Committee; Do Thanh Thuy - Officer of the Department of Organization and Administration as Deputy Head of the Committee; Nguyen Thi Hoang Minh - Officer of the Department of Science, Technology, Environment and International Cooperation as Member and Secretary.

In addition, the conference also sought opinions from officials, civil servants and workers on democratic regulations and internal spending regulations.

Director Khuat Viet Hung, together with officials, civil servants and employees, exchanged opinions on the two regulations in a frank and democratic spirit before submitting them to the Ministry of Transport.
