According to information from the Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board, from 8:00 a.m. on August 8, the elevated section of the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station urban railway line will be put into commercial operation.
The elevated section of the railway from Nhon to Cau Giay includes 8 stations: Nhon (S1); Minh Khai (S2); Phu Dien (S3); Cau Dien (S4); Le Duc Tho (S5); National University (S6); Chua Ha (S7); Cau Giay (S8).

In the first 3 months, the operating unit will open the route at 5:30 am and close the route at 10 pm. Trains will run at regular intervals of 10 minutes/trip. On the first day of opening, the route will start at 8 am.
In the coming time, depending on passenger demand, adjustments will be made to best meet the travel needs of passengers on the route.
A single ticket for this railway line costs 8,000 VND for one station and 12,000 VND for the whole line. A daily ticket costs 24,000 VND, valid for one day and has no limit on the number of trips. A monthly ticket (general, priority), general is 200,000 VND/month; priority for students is 100,000 VND/month. A group ticket is 140,000 VND/month.
The Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station urban railway line implements a free ticket policy for priority groups such as children under 6 years old, meritorious people, the elderly over 60 years old, and people with disabilities.
In particular, during the first 15 days of commercial operation, all passengers will be served free of charge according to the Resolution of the Hanoi People's Council.
The Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station urban railway is a radial route, running from the outskirts of the capital deep into the inner city. When put into operation, it will help Hanoi traffic reduce pressure on vehicles, congestion, and pressure on bus routes on the same route.
The plan to enhance connection and passenger transfer by bus has also been completed by the Hanoi City Traffic Management and Operation Center.
Accordingly, along the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station urban railway route, there are 36 bus routes in operation. Of these, there are 33 subsidized routes and 3 non-subsidized routes; 2 passenger transfer points at Cau Giay and Nhon; 32 bus stops (16 stops on the Cau Giay - Nhon route, 16 stops on the Nhon - Cau Giay route).
