The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just issued the 2024-2025 school year schedule for preschool education, general education and continuing education in the area.
Accordingly, preschoolers will not return to school. The school return date for all levels is Monday, August 26. First graders will return to school on August 19.

Schools will simultaneously start the new school year on September 5 and ensure 18 weeks of actual study in semester 1 and 17 weeks of actual study in semester 2.
Lunar New Year holiday is expected to start from January 25, 2025 (December 26) to February 2, 2025 (January 5).
The end date of the 2024-2025 school year is before May 31. Consider completing primary school and considering graduating from secondary school before June 30, 2025.
Complete enrollment for grades 1, 6, and 10 for the 2025-2026 school year before July 31, 2025.
