Although the number was small and printed on clay on Dap Cau paper, to have that first issue was a difficult process, accepting sacrifices, daring to exchange with blood, sweat and tears of the predecessors - those who laid the first bricks to build Lao Dong Newspaper with a position in the revolutionary press of Vietnam today. Through ups and downs, Lao Dong Newspaper has grown up with the country, attached to the revolutionary cause of the Party, the People and the working class of Vietnam. The collective of people working at Lao Dong Newspaper did not hesitate to face difficulties and hardships, being present in difficult and arduous places, on the hottest fronts. In particular, the newspaper has closely followed its objectives and promptly disseminated the Party's guidelines and the State's laws and policies to workers. The newspaper has also published many articles and elaborate investigative reports on the field of corruption prevention and control, contributing to the discovery of negative cases, clarifying violations of the law by many individuals and organizations, and making positive contributions to the cause of national construction and defense. How do you evaluate the information work of Lao Dong Newspaper about the National Assembly in the recent special period? - Secretary General of the National Assembly Bui Van Cuong: Recently, voters and people across the country have continued to acknowledge and appreciate the activities of the 15th National Assembly, which has inherited the glorious tradition of the Vietnamese National Assembly with many positive innovations, openness, transparency, and closer to the people. This result was not achieved overnight, but from the nearly 80-year tradition of the Vietnamese National Assembly. The 15th National Assembly continues that tradition and continues the cause of innovation. I want to say this in the communication message, maintaining the achievements of previous terms is difficult, taking a step forward is even more difficult. We must continue to innovate, continue to inherit and develop. In that effort and result, there is an important contribution from news agencies and newspapers, including Lao Dong Newspaper.
