This is the largest and most comprehensive exhibition of the year of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, for visual artists of Hanoi Region I with the participation of many famous artists such as: Bach Thanh Binh, Nguyen Trung Quang, Mai Thi Ngoc Oanh, Ngo Doan, Ho Nam, Trinh Ba Quat, Kim Xuan, Vu Ngoc Long...
Among them, the appearance of father and son sculptors Nguyen Van Vu - Nguyen Van An with unique works attracted attention. As a young sculptor, Nguyen Van An said, he is willing to explore and challenge himself with many different topics. At the exhibition, he introduced two works Butterfly and Flower Dance and Badminton , while his father brought the sculpture Mother's Heart .
Both works were made by Nguyen Van An in iron - a rough material but also a testament to the longevity of creativity. The young artist painstakingly researched and worked on them for 3 months - from the moment the idea emerged to the formation of the final lines.
Nguyen Van An said his inspiration always comes from small, simple things in nature. He said: "I encountered many difficulties when choosing this path. Line sculpture requires meticulousness, delicacy and extensive knowledge of science.
Every line, every angle I carefully calculate to ensure aesthetics and convey emotions and messages in it. It is a constant struggle between reason and emotion so that my work can reach the public in the most complete way."

"Despite the generational difference, my love for art has connected me to my father. My father has always been a teacher, a companion, sharing valuable experiences to help me become more confident on my artistic path," said Nguyen Van An.
Ms. Mai Thi Ngoc Oanh - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association - said that this is an annual exhibition of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association for visual artists with good works of the year.
