The Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway through Dong Nai province passes through a complex geological area with many rivers, swamps, and weak soil. Of which, 3.3km passes through a mangrove forest with green mangrove and cypress trees. The total investment for the entire A7 package is over 1,100 billion VND, of which over 720 billion is for Thi Vai bridge and the viaduct. The bridge construction process encountered many difficulties, the drill bit broke many times, so the cost increased. Mr. Nguyen Thien Dat, Executive Director of Package A7, said that the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway has 3.3km passing through the mangrove forest in Long Thanh and Nhon Trach districts of Dong Nai province. This is a very beautiful section of the expressway, winding through the mangrove forest. The contractor's workers are determined to complete it in August to hand it over to the investor. In early August, at the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway construction site through Long Thanh district, workers were rushing to complete the final items in package A7, including cleaning the road surface, placing traffic signs, and constructing the intersection of National Highway 51. The project is expected to be completed in 2025, when it will reduce congestion on National Highways 1 and 51, shorten the travel time from Long An to Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, creating momentum for the development of the Southern Key Economic Zone. The Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway is also a component project that helps close Ho Chi Minh City's Ring Road 3, creating momentum for the development of the Southeast economic zone in the future. At a working session with Ho Chi Minh City leaders on socio-economic results and the implementation of Resolution 98 of the National Assembly on the morning of August 10, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that the completion of the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway is for the Ben Luc - Long Thanh route, while the connection with Ho Chi Minh City and Long Thanh are two different things. "Getting married and building a house at the same time, where will the wife live? Change this mindset immediately, that mindset is not good, instead it must be comprehensive, comprehensive, and synchronous," the Prime Minister likened. The Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway project is 57.8km long, passing through Long An province for 2.7km, Ho Chi Minh City for 26.4km and Dong Nai province for 28.7km.
