Boxers compete for WBA Asia championship belt in Ho Chi Minh City

This is the tournament under the latest competition system just announced by WBA Asia. Vietnam is the first country to host this prestigious tournament.

Boxers are ready to compete for the WBA Asia belt on the evening of August 11, in Ho Chi Minh City (KN).

The WBA Asia Vietnam round will be held in the super bantamweight (55kg) category. The 8 candidates competing for this championship title are the most talented boxers in Vietnam. They are currently competing in strong boxing teams such as Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, the Army team, Bac Lieu...

In addition, to warm up for this event, there will be 3 opening matches of young boxers. Along with that are the WBA Asia belt matches of foreign boxers, promising to be dramatic and eye-catching.

In particular, former WBA women's lightweight champion (70kg) Cecilia Communales, and famous referee who has officiated more than 879 professional boxing matches, Mr. Tony Weeks, will attend the matches to compete for and defend the WBA Asia title.

In addition, the event will also feature a WBA East Asia title match between Lequan Wang (China) and Anuson Thonglueang (Thailand), in the super lightweight (63.5kg men) category.

In the super welterweight (men's 70kg) category, Kurabaev will compete for the WBA Asia title against Dacong Wang (China). The remaining match will be the WBA Asia title defense match, light flyweight (49kg), between Jhon Pacionnes and Nathanon Thongchai (Thailand).
