Cam Lo district leaders said so when talking about the plan to enforce the handover of the entire construction site of the Van Ninh - Cam Lo expressway.

Regarding the remaining site clearance work in the area of ​​the overpasses of the Van Ninh - Cam Lo expressway project through Cam Lo district, the locality said that the households have basically agreed to the compensation plan and received support money. In the remaining cases, after repeated propaganda and mobilization without compliance, the district will carry out enforcement to soon hand over the entire site to the investor as planned.

According to the report of the Department of Construction, the Van Ninh - Cam Lo expressway section passing through the province has completed compensation, support payment and handover of the main route for 32.53/32.53 km, reaching 100% of the plan. Of which, Cam Lo district has a length of 6.58 km, Gio Linh 11.7 km and Vinh Linh district 14.25 km.

The expressway overpasses include 3 locations on National Highway 9, the northern bypass of National Highway 9 and National Highway 9D in Cam Thuy and Cam Hieu communes, Cam Lo district with a total length of 2.23 km. The land clearance in these areas has basically been completed, and households in the directly affected areas have agreed to the compensation plan and received full support money.

According to the leader of Cam Lo District People's Committee, there are still some households eligible for compensation and support but located on the service road, the section is far from the overpasses, and has little impact on the construction of the Van Ninh - Cam Lo expressway project. The locality is actively mobilizing and persuading them to receive support money and hand over the site. In case the households still do not cooperate, the locality will enforce and protect the construction. However, this is the last resort because if forced, the households will not receive any support regime.

According to information from the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board, up to now, the Van Ninh - Cam Lo expressway project passing through Quang Tri and Quang Binh provinces has completed 59 km/62.32 km. Of which, the road foundation has been completed for 55.62 km/62.32 km, construction of 29/29 bridges has been implemented and girders have been installed on 23/29 bridges. For the remaining volume, the units are striving to basically complete it by April 30, 2025, and the 3 overpasses are striving to be completed by June 30, 2025.
