Reporting on the implementation of the National Target Programs for the period 2021 - 2025 in Mu Cang Chai district, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee Le Trong Khang said that the capital plan for the National Target Programs for the period 2021 - 2025 is 516,963 million VND, of which the central budget capital is 505,489 million VND, the provincial budget counterpart capital is 11,474 million VND. Specifically, the National Target Program 1719 is 247,862 million VND; the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction is 212,053 million VND; the National Target Program for New Rural Development is 50,048 million VND.

The disbursement results of specific National Target Programs are as follows: In 2022, VND 47,183.64 million was disbursed, reaching 23.5% of the assigned capital plan and 28.2% of the allocated capital. In 2023, by the end of the fiscal year, VND 232,251 million was disbursed, reaching 88.3% of the capital plan. In 2024, by the end of July 2024, VND 111,478.4 million was disbursed, reaching 47.1% of the capital plan and 58.3% of the allocated capital plan.

At the working session, the Central Working Group and delegates discussed many contents to continue to remove difficulties of Mu Cang Chai district related to mechanisms, policies and obstacles in some specific projects and sub-projects. From there, the Central Working Group had more practical basis to serve the working session of the Central Steering Committee for National Target Programs with the People's Committee of Yen Bai province on August 14, led by Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister, Chairman of the Ethnic Committee Hau A Lenh - Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee for National Target Programs for the period 2021 - 2025.

After the working session, the delegation and local authorities surveyed a number of effective start-up models of ethnic minorities in the area; inspected and surveyed Pung Luong Primary Boarding School, Phung Luong commune, which was built with facilities from the National Target Program 1719.
